FUNKYCATS ON FRIDAYS

We are delighted to announce that we are now able to offer classes to the under 5’s. These sessions take place on Friday morning and you can currently pay £4.00 at each visit. (you will need to pay the £8.95 annual insurance - See Fees)

There is no waiting list for this age group, so you can just turn up each Friday morning and pay on the day.

Our qualified pre-school teacher has also been asked to run additional sessions during the week working day, so watch this space………

10.00 – 10.45am parent and toddlers (18 months - 2 years 9 months)

11.00 – 11.45am 2 years 10 months – 3 years 9 months

12.00 – 12.45pm 3 years 10 months - Pre-School

Developed by British Gymnastics, the ‘FUNdamental Movement Ideas for Early Years’ has been designed to help young people enjoy physical exercise. The emphasis is on FUN and the Funky Cat character and his family introduces a wide range of physical activities based around 16 different themes. Designed for children from walking to 5 years, the activities will help children to learn the basic movement skills with the experience of managing their bodies, and incorporates the pleasure of moving and listening to music.

We encourage all children to enjoy the sport in a disciplined but friendly environment and as the parents join in with the children during the 10.00am session, it also becomes a very nice social event.

Each term they work towards achieving the relevant character badge & certificate.
