The mobile number 07964 719174 is available should any child member need to talk to them in confidence

CCTV
To enhance the security of the building, we are shortly going to install a camera system. This will be filming the premises and not the children !

INTRODUCTION TO COACHING & JUDGING
We are planning to run sessions for parents who want to learn the basics of the sport and understand how we coach the gymnasts, and how they are marked etc. If you are interested in having one of these limited places, please speak to your coach asap

CONGRATULATIONS
Following an impressive performance, Oliver Shakles and Izaac Turner are off to the National Boys Finals in Newcastle. They gained a place in the South West Team for coming 2nd and 4th in the Inter 2 section and Inter 1 section respectively. (Chris Jones is the travelling Inter 2 reserve after finishing a close 7th).

Congratulations also to the girls teams that took part in the Western League Comp at Fromeside. We entered 3 teams and the Under 11’s won the gold medals The Under 13’s took the bronze The Over 14’s also took the bronze, so well done to all of them.

CHANGE OF PERSONNEL
Following the AGM, we’re delighted to welcome Wayne Timlin on board as the new club Chairman.
Thanks go to Brynn Gaskill for all his hard work during the last 3 years.
We are still looking for a TREASURER – any volunteers please see Kerry ASAP
Kerry Reynolds has decided to step down as the Centre Administrator. We are now in the process of short listing the applicants with a view to them starting in September.

AGM
Yet again, another disappointing turn out from parents. We really need more volunteers to help with all of the aspects of the Club. This can be done whilst your child is having their session. If you can help out with any of the forthcoming events listed on the office door, please add your name onto the posted or contact Claire Hall on 01793 644313.

SPONSOR
We are still looking for a new sponsor for the Club. So if anyone knows of an individual person (or their place of work) who would like to get involved and be marketed with the Clubs achievements, please see Kerry ASAP for the Partnership details It is only through sponsorship, donations and fundraising that we are able to keep the fees down !

CLUB RULES
All lost property is disposed of on the last day of each month. Can we politely remind you that it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to transport children to and from the gym. Please be prompt when collecting your child as it’s not fair for the coach to stay and wait. Please can younger children (spectators) be accompanied to the toilets by an adult. This will assist our volunteers when Cleaning.
